Welcome to the Georgia Charitable Care Network
An association of free & charitable clinics
Strengthening Georgia’s health care safety net by empowering organizations serving vulnerable populations
We envision a future in which all Georgians can access affordable, high-quality healthcare. To that end, GCCN fosters collaborative partnerships and provides funding, education, and advocacy to the state’s free and charity care providers.
Working For You
The Georgia Charitable Care Network (GCCN) exists to strengthen the capacity of free and charity clinics and support their efforts to serve vulnerable populations. We work to raise awareness of and grow access to services, and to elevate the health of local communities. These priorities drive member services, advocacy efforts, collaborations, and educational opportunities, working exclusively on behalf of Georgia’s safety net clinics, ensuring that their needs are considered by key policymakers, funders and stakeholders.

An Alternative, Cost Efficient Solution: Charitable Clinics
Charitable Clinics provide health services to Georgia’s uninsured and underserved. In 2023, 267,778 unique patients were served, with total patient visits equaling 496,432.
95%
of patients are uninsured
74%
of patients are employed, sometimes holding more than one job
62%
of patients served are living below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level
Every $1 spent in support of charity care provides $10 in services
